Organic Sourdough Danishes - original recipe creation - long fermented
I created this recipe at the request of a dear friend. The beautiful laminated dough is long fermented, and the fillings are made entirely from scratch. I offer Apple Streusel, Raspberry Cream Cheese, and Cream Cheese with plans to add additional flavors.
Ingredients: organic unbleached wheat flour, organic sugar, Redmond Real Salt or Baja Gold Salt, organic butter, organic milk, organic European butter, brushed with organic egg wash
Fillings:
Apple: organic Granny Smith Apples, organic cinnamon, organic brown sugar, organic butter, organic streusel - organic unbleached wheat flour, organic sugar, organic cinnamon, organic butter
Lemon: organic lemon juice, organic lemon zest, organic egg yolks, organic eggs, organic sugar, organic butter, organic cream
Drizzle: organic confectioner’s sugar, organic vanilla, organic milk
